Type an origin and a destination — by IATA code (like LHR or HKG) or by city name — and the globe draws the flight path between them, with the great-circle distance in kilometres and miles and an estimated nonstop flight time.

Which airports does the map cover?

Every airport with an active 3-letter IATA code — more than 8,800 worldwide, from major hubs like London Heathrow and Hong Kong International to small regional fields. The airport data comes from the public-domain OurAirports dataset.

How accurate are the distance and flight time?

The distance is the great-circle (shortest-path) distance — the same basis airlines and award programs use for distance-based charts. The flight time is an estimate from typical cruise speeds plus taxi and climb time; real flights vary with winds and routing.

How many miles do I need to fly this route?

Distance is the first input for many award charts.
